Prof. Sky Alton Writer, Gryffindor Moonlight That Beckons Her boat bobbed on the water and she balanced her paddle across her knees, taking one last look out to sea. The moon cast a shining path on the water. She wondered what would happen if she turned the boat and followed it wherever it would lead her. For a wild moment, she almost did. But then she remembered her promise. The fierce joy of adventure cooled into the calm of a task to be done. She slid the paddle into the sea and struck out along the coast, towards the roiling cloud of smoke lit from beneath by flame. Prof. Sky Alton Writer, Gryffindor Once in a Blue Moon She shut the restaurant door and pulled out her keys to lock it. She couldn’t believe how well the night had gone: every dish out on time, nothing sent back and no kitchen drama. It was the first peaceful evening she could remember in forever. What she’d always hoped owning her own place would be like, in fact. Finally, the lock clicked and she turned to the car park. The moon was up, illuminating her solitary car. She crossed over to it, feeling lighter somehow. Perhaps it was a trick of the light but the moon almost looked blue tonig Hannah Lovegood Writer, Slytherin I decided to go to the moon with my friends Willow and Windy. I got us matching purple outer space suits. On the way up to the moon, I showed the girls different stuff on my phone and we played games and we played hide and seek. I also drew pictures of some kawaii stuff and made us pancakes. There are clear doors on the back of the spaceship. We have the doors so that when we get to the moon, we can open them and get out. I also connected all of our suits with cords. I hugged them. Hannah Lovegood Writer, Slytherin When Willow and Windy and I got to the moon, I opened up the back clear doors and we got out and closed the doors again. Before we got out, I put Willow in a harness so she wouldn't run away. When we got out, I yelled, “We're on the moon! This is awesome!” Then, I did a cartwheel across the moon. Then I pressed a button on my suit and it started playing some Disney Princess songs. Then I pulled out my outer space phone and I videoed us exploring the moon. Then we jumped in the space ship.
