Shiloh Adlar Writer, Ravenclaw I recently had to sit for my Potions OWL, and it was very strange how the professor was encouraging the students to recreate a potion. At least, I thought it was strange at first, but I ended up gathering more of an understanding why when I realized how changing a potion may make it even better than it was originally if the research is done correctly. The potion we were given was the Wit-Sharpening Potion. You know that potion that is supposed to allow the drinker to think more clearly? Being the raw vegan that I am, the original potion and even the new potion the professor created, did not sit well with me. It had animal products in it with weird slimy names that simply grossed me out. There was no way I was going to drink that. Therefore, I did some fairly intense research to find ingredients that would do exactly the same thing but were more in line with my beliefs. Let me introduce to you the newest and improved, raw vegan Wit-Sharpening Potion! These are the ingredients you will need. Makes one serving!
However, I prefer to drink my potions chilled, so I placed my jar into a solid box and cast a freezing charm over it to cool it until morning. I made sure to drink it before heading off to class, and might I say, I certainly felt a brain boosting surge going on!
If you want some stirring instructions on how to handle your potion once chilled, after all, the coconut oil will solidify, make sure to stir your potion 11 times counterclockwise then 5 times clockwise before stirring once more 7 times counterclockwise. Enjoy!
