Hannah Lovegood Writer, Slytherin One day, I decided that I really wanted to go to the moon. So, I grabbed my phone and then grabbed Willow and Windy's hands. They are the 2 little girls that I rescued from a Basilisk that had bitten them. I told them that they could pick out one stuffed animal each to bring along. Then, I slid on my moon gravity Converse sneakers. Then, I grabbed Willow and Windy's pairs. Then, I grabbed my big stuffed animal unicorn. Then, I called the airport that kept my rocket ship safe and I told them to deliver it at my door. Then, I grabbed unicorn onesies for all of us. Then, the 2 girls came back. Windy wanted to bring her stuffed animal tiger and Willow wanted to bring her tiger print bag. Then, I grabbed the girls' hands and opened my house door. Then, I closed it and locked it up. My rocket ship was right outside.
Then, I put Windy in her little bunkbed and cozied her up with her blanket. Then, I went back over to my bed and picked up Willow and put her on my bed with me. Then, I turned on my tv and put it on to a quidditch game. After the quidditch game ended, I got myself into my spacesuit. Then, I put on Willow's spacesuit. Then, I opened the door and went through it with Willow and shut it. Then, I went down one floor to our little kitchen where I made Willow a salad and some granola, and I made both of us a cherry lavender smoothie. Then, I went over to my fridge and pulled out for myself some cooked dumplings with some apple pieces. Then, I made a treacle tart.
Then, I put Willow in her high chair at the table and I gave her the granola and her salad and her drink. Then, I sat next to her on a stool chair and I ate my dumplings and my apple pieces and drank my smoothie up. While Willow was finishing up her food, I put her hair back in a ponytail. Then, I got her out of her high chair and we left the kitchen and went down one more floor to the game room where we played a racing game. Then, after we played one round of that, we went down another floor to our craft room where I made Willow a kawaii sketch book and Willow made me a headband and scrunchie that matched. So, I put the headband on and put the scrunchie in my hair. Then, we went through the door in our craft room into our sports room where we decided to play some soccer. Willow beat me 10 to 4. Then, we played basketball where I beat Willow 40 to 24. Then, I gave Willow a big high five. Then, I took our escalator down where we went to the astronomy room and I took a lot of photos, which I sent to February for her class. Then, we went back upstairs where I found a note from Windy saying, “I'm in the gardening room. P.S. Tell Willow that I printed a Ravenclaw coloring page for her. Love, Windy.” A smaller sticky note saying, “Here's a flower crown for you.” It was an actual rose flower crown. So, I put it on and then I grabbed the smaller one and put it on Willow. Then, while Willow colored her Ravenclaw badge, I colored my Ravenclaw common room. Then, I drew a gardening picture. While we worked, Willow had turned on the music built into her backpack so we had some music. Then, we went down to the gardening room where I gave Windy my drawing and I thanked her for the flower crowns. Willow thanked her for the coloring page. Then, we landed on the moon. So, then we all jumped in our sneakers and flew out the top of the space ship. When we landed, we explored the entire moon. From a scientist that was staying there, she told us that we could have a little bit of the moon so we did. It was actually kind of yummy. Then, I gave the scientist a pair of moon sneakers and in exchange, she gave us a big moon science kit. Then, we did some handstands. Then, finally, after a little while, we stomped our sneakers and flew back into the space ship. We landed in the mall part of the space ship where we bought as much Harry Potter stuff as we could. I got us a sorting hat. It put Windy in Ravenclaw. It put Willow in Gryffindor. It put me in Slytherin. Then, we had a Harry Potter-themed party. Then, we went down to the bottom floor where we watched some more tv and sketched some more. We watched some videos on my phone. Finally, we landed back outside my house. I opened up the door where I lifted out Windy. After I lifted out Windy, I grabbed my wand and shouted “Alohomora” at my front door. My door unlocked and Windy went inside where she grabbed herself a bowl of cereal, Blue Burst. After she finished that, she went over to her bed and put on her dragon pajamas. Then she got into bed and fell asleep. Then, I lifted out Willow and told her to go through the back entrance where there was a little broomstick waiting for her. She grabbed the broomstick. Next to the broomstick was a Rainbow Sprinkles bar that she grabbed and ate up. Then, she went in through the back door and she went over to her bed and changed into her unicorn pajamas. Then she climbed up the ladder of her and Windy's bunk bed. She cozied herself in her blankets and fell asleep. Then, I pressed the button inside the space ship and that called the airport people. Then, I jumped out of my space ship, shut the door, and then I ran straight towards my front door and passed through it like I was a ghost. Then, I grabbed myself a strawberry ice cream cone out of the freezer and ate that up. Then, I changed into my lion pajamas and I jumped into my bed, cozied myself up, and fell asleep.

Hannah Lovegood Writer, Slytherin Friends No Matter Who You Are The day before the muggles came to be with wizards and witches, all of the witches and wizards were having a big party because Voldemort had fallen off the globe. They were happy for that because little Harry Potter did that on his little broomstick. They were making magic fireworks. They were dancing and singing and saying, “Go Harry!” They were having a lot of fun until some Death Eaters came. The Death Easters were extra mad because they didn't know where Voldemort was. They asked, “What are you partying for?” The witches and wizards said, “We're not parting. We're just welcoming a new wizard to Hogwarts.” The Death Eaters asked, “Why are all of the wizards celebrating not just some of them?” Lucius Malfoy asked, “Do you know where our leader is?” The wizards and witches said, “We don't know where he is.” Lucius said, “You better tell me or I'll throw you off the cliff.” Narcissa said, “Lucius, you don't have to be that hard.” Then a sleepy Draco came and asked, “Dad, what are you doing here?” Lucius Malfoy asked, “Draco, what are you doing out of bed?” Then Narcissa said, “Lucius, I'll take care of him.” Narcissa put little Draco on her shoulders. Then Bellatrix showed up with a little Hermione and Ron, and Crabbe and Goyle, and a little Harry running in front. When Lily and James, who were waiting there, saw Harry, then ran over and picked him up. Hermione and Ron came and sat next to Harry. The little Crabbe and Goyle ran over to little Draco, who had been let down, and then they started playing together. Tonks said to the Death Eaters, “How about you guys stay and party with us, if we promise not to party after this?” Bellatrix said, “Ok. I actually like partying.” Bellatrix's normal scowl turned into a little smile, a good smile. She ran over and sat down next to little Harry and they started to play together. The Elephant Adventure Once upon a time, there was a circus and they had a lot of elephants. But there was one elephant that was special. It could fly. So, that one elephant made lot of people come to the circus until one day, the elephant flew away. Far, far away until it landed next to Freno Delacour. The elephant said, “Do you want a ride somewhere?” Freno said, “Yeah. I really do need a ride. I need a ride to Durmstring.” The elephant said, “Ok. Just get on my back.” Freno pulled out her wand and spun her wand around and that made her fly onto the elephant's back. Then, she put her wand away. Then they flew to Durmstring where Fleur Delacour was waiting for her. Fleur said, “That is a very cool elephant.” Then, Lily came running over to Freno and said, “Hi. My name is Lily. What's your name?” Freno said, “My name is Freno.” Then, Harry and Ginny came running over. Harry said, “Hi Fleur.” Fleur said, “Hi Harry.” Harry said, “How are you doing Fleur?” Fleur said, “I'm doing excellent.” Then Hermione and Ron came running over. Hermione said, “Hi Fleur. Hi Harry. Hi Ginny. Hi Lily. Hi Freno.” Then Lily ran over to Rose and said, “Hi, I'm Lily. What's your name? I really like your shoes.” Rose said, “Hi Lily. My name is Rose and thanks, I just got these shoes last week. I really like your shirt.” Lily said, “Ginny got it for me. I just met Freno a couple minutes ago. She's really nice.” Rose said, “She seems really nice. I was wondering if you wanted to go to the park tomorrow.” Lily said, “Sure. I would love to go to the park. Can James and Albus come?” Rose said, “Sure. More the better.” Lily said, “Great. I just got a cat yesterday. Do you have any pets?” Rose said, “I have 2 goats and 4 pigs.” Then Teddy walked over. He said, “Hey Lily. What's your friend here's name?” Lily said, “That's my friend Rose.” Teddy said, “That's a cool name. I was wondering if you two want to go to the park tomorrow.” Lily and Rose said, “Ok. That sounds great. We were already planning on going.” Teddy laughed and said, “That's funny.” Then, I walked over and said, “Hey Lily. Hey Rose. Hey Teddy. Do you want to come over to my house to practice some magic?” Teddy said, “Ok. I really do need to practice my magic.” I said, “Your hair looks really pretty Teddy.” His hair was a pretty, light green color. I said, “I'm headed to the park tomorrow. I wondered if you guys wanted to join me.” Everybody said, “Yes. We just told Teddy that we were just planning to do that when he said he wanted to join us.” Then everybody jumped on the elephant. The UK Adventure One day, I woke up and I had no idea where I was. So, I got out of this bed that wasn't mine and went to a mirror. My reflection was not myself. I was February and February was me. The first day that I was February, I explored around where February lives. I found a Harry Potter themed land, which was awesome because you could actually talk with the people in the movies. Because I was near the front of the crowd, I got to hug everybody in the cast and talk to them. I asked them what their favorite part of filming was and I complimented everybody's outfit. Emma Watson got me a Gryffindor scarf and Pansy Parkinson got me a Slytherin scarf. I told Professor McGonagall how awesome she is and I also asked to meet her granddaughter. I told Bellatrix how super cool she is and how she was one of the coolest characters. After I had that fun day, I had to do February's job having no idea what it was. So, I just quit February's job and sold February's house so that she would move to the UK. Then I went to the Harry Potter World that is built there and also went to the Disneyland in London, where I had so much fun! I had Fred and George and Ginny come join me to have some fun. It was so fun riding the Hogwarts Train and taking a selfie with them with the Hogwarts Castle in the background. I also got a Harry Potter uniform while I was at the Harry Potter World and I got an orange tree wand with a cherry core. It was decorated with flower petals. Then all 4 of us pretended to have a wand battle and took a few photos of that. When I went back to February's house, I saw Harry Potter and I ran over and gave him a big hug. Then, Harry Potter and Ginny and Fred and George and me took a selfie with Big Ben. Then, I went to bed after having a nice, busy day and when I woke up, I was myself in the UK. The Adventures at the Beach I decided to go to the ocean because I was having a really bad day. When I got there, I saw Mia and Max, my pugs. They were getting walked by their dog walker. So, I ran over and said, “Hey Max. Hey Mia.” Then I sat down in the sand and the dogwalker let Mia and Max off their leashes so they could come say hi to me. I gave them a big doggy hug. Then I took the leash from the dog walker and said, “I can take Max and Mia from here.” Then an owl flew down. It was Louis and Harry Walles' owl. It said, “Come to the UK where we can have some adventures together.” So, I pulled out a scroll and wrote: “I'll be there. Can Max and Mia come along? Do you guys want to come here with your pet and play at the beach with me and Max and Mia? And bring your daughter along too!” I gave the message to the owl and it flew away. Then, I took Max and Mia's harnesses off and put Mia's swimsuit on and put Max's swim trunks on. Then I went back to my car and dropped off my stuff. Then I ran back to the ocean and started swimming around with Max and Mia. Then I went back to the sand because I saw that there was a shack that had surfboards. So, I got one surfboard and I put Max and Mia on the end. Then, I surfed a little bit. Then, I went back to shore and gave the surfboard back to the hut people. Then I went back to the car and hooked on Max and Mia's harnesses and leashes. Then I got all 3 of us in the car and then I decided to go to the airport to pick up Louis and Harry. When I got there, I saw Emma Watson and I said, “Hey Emma. You want to go to the beach with me and Harry and Louis?” She said, “Hey Hannah. Sure!” So then when I got Harry and Louis, we all went back to the car and I gave Emma a hoodie and sweatpants to wear so no one would recognize her. Then I got everybody cozied up on the warm benches I had and I gave them a few games that they could play if they wanted to. Then I threw a t-shirt and shorts over my swimsuit and switched my shoes to my cozy sandals. Then I drove us back to the beach. Then we all got surfboards and we all started splashing around. After a little while, we got so wet that we went back to my car and got fresh swimsuits and then we all decided to sit down on the sand for a while. I decided to write a story and after a little while, we got done with that. We got back in my car and I drove us to my house where I dropped off the car and then we walked across the street to the airport. Then we all got on a plane to the UK. While we were on our ride, my story that I had written was published. So, when we got to the UK, I got a copy for everybody, which was free because I was the author so they let me have free copies. Then we went to a Harry Potter shop where we got scarves and sweaters and Harry Potter swimsuits. Then we took a selfie in front of Big Ben and then we went to Harry and Louis' party, which was really fun because all of us had gotten hot being on the plane so it was a lot of fun because it was a pool party. We had a pool of a blast. The Snow Adventure One day, I woke up and I felt really cold so I looked out my window and it was snowing. So, I got dressed in warm, cozy clothes. Then, I got Mia and Max dressed in their ski outfits. Then I put their sled helmets on and put on mine. I got in my sled and I got Mia and Max cozied up in my warm blankets that I have in the back. They cozied up so much that all I could see was little helmets poking out. We were having a big blast until the sled got stuck on side ice and started slipping and sliding. But then we got back on some flat ground. Then Mia and Max started barking. Then I saw this big iceberg coming up. So, I squeezed the stop handlebars on my sled. When I stopped, Mia and Max jumped out of the sled and ran towards the iceberg still barking. So, I ran after them and then I saw that there was a boy stuck in the iceberg. So, I went back to my sled and grabbed my little machine that breaks icebergs. I ran back over and then I broke the iceberg. Then, I brought the boy to an extra sled that I brought that hooks onto my sled. I wrapped him up in some blankets. Then I went back to my cottage where I called February and Lucia and Emily and said, “I have this freezing cold boy that was stuck in an iceberg. Do you have any idea what I can do with him?” So, February and Lucia and Emily got in one big sleigh because they were neighbors to each other, and came rushing over to my house. Then they came in and Mia and Max greeted them. I asked, “Any ideas?” Then Mia and Max started barking. I went outside and saw a sleigh and I said, “Hey!” The sleigh stopped and the people inside said, “Hello. Have you seen a boy with bright orange hair?” I said, “Yes. Would you like me to bring him out here?” They said, “Yes! Yes! Please.” So, I ran back into my cottage and I brought the boy out and cozied him up in their sleigh. They asked, “Where did you find him?” I said, “I found him stuck in an iceberg.” They said, “Poor boy.” Then they took off in their sleigh. I went back into my cottage and said, “Does anybody want any hot cocoa?” I heard three 'Yes.' So, I cooked up some hot cocoa for all of us and I gave Max and Mia some nice hot tea, which they slurped up fast. Then all 6 of us hanged out together. I put Max and Mia in Harry Potter sweatshirts and some really cozy sweatpants and some really cozy Max and Mia-sized warm socks. All of us were wearing matching outfits. I said after a little while, “Do you guys want to stay here? It seems like the snow has gotten worse out there.” Everybody looked outside and said, “Yes, please, if you could.” I said, “ok.” I went over to the wall and pulled down 2 bunk beds. I said, “I'm pretty tired. How about you guys?” They said, “We're pretty tired too.” So, I said, “You guys can pick whatever bed you want.” So, Emily and Lucia shared a bunk bed, and me and February shared the other bunk bed. Max and Mia shared my regular bed, which they loved. When I woke up, I made some pancakes with a little bowl of applesauce on the side and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. When February woke up, she and me had some pancakes together and talked in quiet whispers. Then, Lucia woke up next. She came and ate her breakfast and talked with us. Then Emily finally woke up and ate her breakfast. Then, we all got changed into fresh Harry Potter sweaters and jeans and little boots. Then I said, “Do you guys want to go somewhere?” Everybody said, “Sure.” Then I walked over to one of my brick walls and told everybody to hold my hands. Then, I pushed through my brick wall and we all went to Diagon Alley and we had a fun day with no snow. The Scooter Adventures One day I was out having a stroll in the muggle world. My pugs Max and Mia were with me, of course. We decided to go to Pupsbalord and when we got there, I asked the owner if they could make me 2 Max and Mia-sized Harry Potter masks. One said, “You're a Pug-witch-acon” and the other said, “You're a Pug-wizard with some wonder.” They were adorable! I got myself a mask that had 2 broomsticks. There is this app that I set up on my phone where at night I can go to this app and the app is connected to my mask. It starts flashing colors and glows. Also, it sometimes looks like I'm not even wearing a mask. We left the store and I was walking down the street until I heard, “Hey there! Listen to me!” So, I turned around and there was this really creepy guy that was glaring at me. I said, “Excuse me, but how can I help you?” That seemed to aggravate the guy. So, I took off running with Max and Mia in my arms. I jumped on my green scooter and threw on me, Mia's and Max's helmets that were neon green to match the scooter. Then I buckled ourselves in. Then I took off. I bet the guy was probably trying to chase me until he saw all these little sparks shoot up behind me to distract people so I could get as far away as I can. I raced back to my house and when I got home, I let people know on my phone that there was this creepy guy hanging out and not to talk to him. I got into a different outfit and then I jumped into my car. Then I rode to the mall with Mia and Max, and when I was at the mall, I got new purple helmets and matching outfits that matched our helmets. Then I bought Max and Mia sky blue harnesses and collars and leashes. Then I let Max and Mia into the pet supply shop to pick out what toy they wanted for this shopping trip while I slipped in and got them some dog food and little jackets and little Converse sneakers to match mine. Max came back with his toy first. He'd found a Harry Potter squeaky toy. I bought what I had picked out so far and what Max picked. I also got Max a little palm tree shirt with tan shorts and some dog sunscreen. Then Mia came back with a Hermione squeaky toy and also a 3-way tug of war rope toy. Mia is older than Max and she always picks out good things for the 3 of us to do together. I bought those and then I went downstairs where I let Max and Mia play together on the dog playground. I took a lot of photos of them because they were so cute. They were so focused on that that I was able to sneak away and get Mia a dog surfboard. It's like a regular surfboard but dog sized. It has a handle for them to put their paws on and buckle their paws there. You can also buckle their paws onto the surfboard part. Then, you give it a push and it floats around. When it senses danger, goes where it is too deep, or the dog is getting tired, it turns back. It also had a walkie talkie built into it and it was made for dogs so it had an interpreter in it. It told me what Mia was saying. I picked up Max and Mia and we all went home to have a snooze party together. So Many Cute Pugs One day, I thought it would be fun to have more pugs to go on my adventure with me. So, I went to the animal shelter and asked if they had any more pugs. They said, “Yeah” and they showed me a whole bunch of different ones. I had my pugs Max and Mia with me, of course. Mia started barking and she led me over to this really cute pug and the person let the elderly pug out to see Mia. I asked Mia, “Who is that?” Then, Mia ran over to the bigger pug and gave it a puppy hug. Finally I figured out who it was and I knealt down and patted the pug's head. I said, “I think I will get this pug.” Mia recognized the pug because it was her mom. Mia also showed me her brother, who I also got for Mia. Then, Max saw a pug that he liked. Max showed me a really cute brown puppy who was really cute so I couldn't resist getting him. I named Mia's brother 'Milo' but 'Mo' for short. I named her mom 'Mudpug' but 'Muggie' for short. I named Max's pug friend 'Mixie.' Then, I got them all and when we were outside, I told Mia, “You have a really cute little brother.” Then, I got in the car. I put Max and his friend in a dog bunkbed that I found. They cozied up and fell asleep. But Mia sat down in the seat next to me with her brother and her mom. Then, I buckled all 3 of them in. Then, I went to the store and got Mo and Muggie Harry Potter shirts. Then I got all the pugs matching Harry Potter pajamas that were adorable. Then I got back in the car and pulled out my Max and Mo bunkbed. Muggie sat up in the passenger seat so I buckled her in. Then, I drove home where I pulled out my kiddie pool for all the pugs so they could splash around and play together while I snuck away to my big pool. The first to realize that I was gone was Mia's family. Mia's family came running over and splashed into my big pool. Max heard the splash with his friend next to him and splashed into my pool too. We hanged out in the pool for the rest of the day. The Harry Potter Adventures Once upon a time, I got stuck in Beauty and the Beast. So, the first thing I did, once I realized where I was, was to go find where Belle was. Once I found Belle, I was invisible to her but I purposefully showed her to the Beast's castle. I decided not to go in so I stayed outside and when I looked around, it wasn't just me that was stuck in Belle's tale. I saw Harry Potter. When I noticed Harry Potter, he noticed me. Then, me and Harry started talking. We decided to walk down to the town. When we got there, more and more of the people in the village were vanishing. More Harry Potter characters were appearing, mixed with HOLers. It was super weird. I decided to magic myself into Harry Potter's story and then everybody that was in the wrong places went back to their correct places. Then, I hanged out with everybody in Harry Potter. I got to see every common room. I think my favorite was probably the Gryffindor common room or the Slytherin common room. I got to meet all the little house elves. They were nice and cute. I gave Winky a big hug. Everything was going really well until everyone noticed that one person was missing. Hermione was missing because I went to Harry Potter so it took out the person who looked the most like me. So, I had to be Hermione. It was fun hanging out with my two besties. As soon as I saw Bellatrix for the first time, I ran over and hugged her by accident, which made Bellatrix freak out because she was not used to being hugged. Everybody was having fun until we realized that somebody else was missing and Hermione was back. Ginny was missing. So, Hermione and me switched off being Hermione. About the Ginny issue, we had the person who plays Lily in the last book be Ginny. I loved the train. It was so comfy, especially since I got to sit next to Harry Potter. Everything was going awesome until we realized we only had Tonks, Bellatrix, Hermione, Ron, Harry, and Ginny. Everybody else was missing. I said, “How about we stop for today?” So everybody went back to the train and fell asleep. But when Fred and George came back, they found that there were sleeping people they could do some pranks on. So, for Ron, they turned his clothes into a humongous spider and it started clacking its teeth and woke him up immediately. Fred and George hid immediately. Ron screamed super loud and everybody else in the car woke up, but they went back to sleep because the spider turned into Scabbers. What Fred and George did to Harry was they gave him one of their creations, the one that starts and stops a nosebleed. It was so small that Harry didn't wake up. They didn't dare to do anything to the adults. What they did for Ginny was they snuck over and gave her a hug. She didn't wake up but a smile appeared on her face. What they did for Hermione is they gave her a few new books. What they did for Harry was they fixed his glasses. For me, they gave me a pygmy puff. When I woke up, I put the cage on my seat and gave them a big hug. Then, everybody grabbed hands and magicked ourselves to HOL but before that, we magicked ourselves back to the muggle world. We had a lot of fun together. Those were the Harry Potter errors. The Pug Adventures Ok, this is a secret I've never told anybody but I guess I can tell you. I'm actually a pug that is pretending to be a Hogwarts 1st year student. That's why when I listen to Harry Potter, I really liked Fang because he looks a lot like me and he's really cute. How I got to be a Hogwarts student is I took my human part and enrolled myself. If you want to know the biggest secret; I think that everybody is a pug. So, one day I decided to go complete pug for the whole day. Since I was going to go pug for the entire day, I decided to stay in my house. First, before I turned into pug form, I called up February and asked if she wanted to be a pug with me and she said, “Sure.” Then I turned myself into pug form once February showed up. Then I turned my tv onto our favorite channel – Pugs Rule the World. The show was about real pugs that were headed to Mars to see what they thought of it. They weren't able to get there so they stayed on Earth to see if they could find some pug friends. Then I heard a puggy call so I stopped the show and ran outside where the 2 famous pugs from the show were standing out there. I ran over in pug form and licked them. They barked with happiness. Then we went back into my house to watch their own show. The two pugs on the show, Rocket and Rosie, barked in the perfect pitch to tell what was going to go on. After their show ended, they had to go back to get set for their next adventure. After they left, we played hide and seek together. Then we went outside and splashed around in my pool because it was really hot outside. After that, we laid down on lounge chairs by my pool and then we dropped stuff into the water for each other to go grab. After we dropped the stuff into the water, we went inside and used our pug hands to color in a Harry Potter coloring book together. While we were coloring, we had our little paws on each other's shoulders. Then we went out into my garden to pick flowers to make pug flower crowns. Then after that, we played the game where you try not to fall into the pool. Then we went to the store and bought ourselves a whole bunch of dog toys and board games. Then we went home and played board games together. We built a tree house together. When we finished building the tree house, it was evening and we had built a telescope in it so we could both look at the different planets. After we looked at that, we went back inside and popped into our human forms and ate dinner. The Circus Adventures One day I decided to go to the circus because I heard the circus was in town. So, first I went to the store and bought Max a white and red tuxedo and a little fancy hat. I bought Mia a little dress which had white and blue stripes, which I also got the human sized one so me and Mia matched. To go with the dresses for me and Mia, I got us flower crowns. Then, we went to see the circus. Mia got really excited when she saw that the entertainment before the show was her brother Milo. Milo was wearing a cute little white tuxedo with blue stripes to match Mia and me. So, when the circus began, Milo came to hang out with Mia. It was super cool because after the circus was done, there were some pretty fireworks. For the fireworks, Mia and Max and Milo got to sit in hammocks to watch the fireworks. Just then, Rocket, Max’s friend, ran over and jumped up into the hammock to hang out with Max. I thought it was really cute that they had buddies but I really wanted a buddy. Then, I saw my best friend and called, “Hey. Come over here and sit with me.” So, she came over and sat next to me. Then, we all had buddies. After the fireworks, the chairs started spinning and going up really, really high up into the sky. Max and Rocket got on another hammock that had harnesses to keep them in the hammock. But Mia and Milo cozied up with me. Mia got so excited that she climbed up my back and put her paws on my shoulders and licked every part of me that she could reach while Milo made a little cozy spot in my dress to cozy up in. It spun us so high up. Finally after a while, it stopped spinning but it kept letting us go higher and higher and higher. Then finally it let us down and shot us down really fast, spinning really fast. It was really exciting. Because we stayed up there a couple hours, I brought my Harry Potter book along so I could read it while we were up in my hammock. When Mia saw that I was reading Harry Potter, she jumped down into my lap next to Milo so she could read it with me. After that, we got ourselves some cotton candy. So yummy! Because we went the highest in our hammock, we got free plane tickets to London. So, we got on our plane to London where we stayed at the Harry Potter Mystery Hotel. You got special surprises that they gave you there. Plus anything you used, you got to keep. So one of my favorite things to get was the entire Harry Potter bed that I slept in. Everything Harry Potter was shipped to my house, which was super cool. So, I hanged out and I put on a Harry Potter uniform. Then, when we woke up in the morning, we went to Harry Potter World. When We Reached Our Destination One day, I decided to walk up Table Rock with Max and Mia. So, first, I got Mia in a little sweater that matched my big sweater and a little flowered skirt for her and a bigger flowered skirt for me. Then, little Converse sneakers for all of her little feet and big Converse for me. Then I put Max in a little long-sleeve shirt and little jeans and matching little Converse to match me and Mia. Then I grabbed my backpack that had my phone, some snacks (doggy and not doggy), a sketch book, extra doggy leashes and harnesses. Then I popped on Mia's new flower collar with matching leash. Then I popped on Max's new train collar and leash. I walked outside, locked up my house, and then I walked Mia and Max over to my neighbor's house where I picked up my neighbor's dog Louis who is a French bulldog. I put a smiley face collar and leash on him. Then I went to my other neighbor's and I picked up Harry, who is also a French bulldog. I put a lightning bolt leash and collar on him. Then, I jumped in my car and I got in my seat and Mia jumped on my lap so she could get some of the fresh air. Max and Harry and Louis just hanged out together and kept warm. When we got there, I got out and grabbed all the dogs' leashes. I closed up my car and locked it up. Then we started up. We got tired a few times so we rested. The first time, I pulled out Mia's special water bottle with a pop-up spout and gave it to her. She barked when she was done so I took it and closed it up and put it in my bag. Then I pulled out my phone and took a selfie with Mia with our matching outfits. I got the outfits from Snap Bubble Pop. Then, we got up again and started walking. We made it to the top. I said, “Here we stand!” I took some photos of the view. Then, I took some selfies with the dogs. Then we all sat down and looked at the clouds for a little while. Then, I decided to grab my sketch book and sketched the view and the sky and my outfit. Then finally we were done up on the top. We walked down. Finally we got back to my car. Then I gave my dogs a few snacks and I ate a few of my snacks. Then I drove us to the beach and then I got all of us out and I pulled off my skirt and sweater and there was a cute swimsuit with flowers that matched Mia's collar and the skirt. Then I pulled off Mia's sweater and skirt and she had a matching swimsuit. Then I pulled off my Converse sneakers and put on some cute sandals. Then I pulled off Mia's Converse and put on cute matching sandals. Then I pulled off Max's outfit and shoes and put little matching sandals on him and underneath his outfit, he had on adorable train swim shorts. Then we got out and ran down to the sand, after I locked my car of course. We played around for a while but then we got kind of hungry so I got up on the little boardwalk and walked to The Sweet Sun Cafe. When we got inside, I sat down at one of the tables that looked over the ocean in the high comfy seats. Mia sat next to met. Harry and Louis sat in one seat together. Max sat next to Mia. I got myself some rice, a smoothie, some cereal, and a meat bowl that was a mix of all different meats put together with soy sauce on them. I got Mia some chicken and I got myself some carrot fries. I gave some beef to Max and Louis and Harry. After that, I got some Harry Potter ice cream. It was Hogwarts built out of ice cream. I gave Mia a little Harry Potter dog gingerbread man. I gave Harry and Louis a Dumbledore cookie to share together because it was a little bit bigger. I gave Max a little bit of ice cream. After that, we went home and on my way home, I saw this really cool house. It had different scenes from Harry Potter. It was super cool! I got out of my car and read the sign. It said that the house had been made out of plastic bottles and bags that would have been hurting animals in the ocean if they hadn't used them. While I was reading the sign, the woman that was selling it came up to me and said, “Hello!” I was startled and turned around and said, “Hey. Are you the one that's selling this house?” She said, “Surely I am.” I said, “I want to buy this. How much is it?” She said, “Give me half an hour and I'll get back to you on that.” So, I decided to drop Louis and Harry off at their houses. Then I took a shower. After my shower, I got changed into jeans and a t-shirt and my glow-in-the-dark Harry Potter Converse sneakers. Then I headed back over there. The woman was waiting for me. She said, “Ok. Now that I've thought about it and you live really close, how about $200?” I said, “Sure” and pulled out my wallet and gave her $200. She said, “Ok. You can move in in a couple days. We're just finishing up the inside.” I said, “Ok.” Then I went home. I went to bed. When I got up, I packed up all my stuff and walked over to my new house. The woman said, “Oh, you're ready? Ok. We just finished up. You can go in.” So, I explored my house and put everything on the walls. I set up my bed and got Max and Mia all set up. I picked out a room for my art studio and got that all set up. Then, I cooked up myself some food. I cooked a pasta salad and some chicken for Max and Mia. We all really enjoyed what we ate. But everything inside the house was Harry Potter-themed. The four walls of my art studio are the Hogwarts house colors with the animals printed on them. Then I read a book to Max and Mia, and then I drew and it was the end of the day again and I went to bed. Wizarding World Adventures One day, it was very rainy and it felt like it should have thunder so Max and Mia and I stayed inside with my new puppy. His name is Leo. It was really cute when I got Leo and Mia saw Leo. Mia went over and licked his little head. Then she brought him over to her cozy little bed. She showed him a very comfy spot right next to her to lay. Mia and Max are pugs, but my new puppy Leo is a little French bulldog. We watched the rain fall outside and after a while, it seemed like the thunder was stolen. It seemed like it had been raining really hard, so hard that there should have been thunder. Everything was shaking, but no thunder. So then I got bored of watching out the window so I put Mia's leash and collar on and then I put Max's leash and collar on. Then, I put Leo's leash and collar on. They were really pretty because they were a brick pattern. I grabbed my backpack and walked over to my magic wall and pushed us through it to the wizarding world. When I pushed through the wall, it reminded me of when I went in with February, Emily and Lucia. When I was in the wizarding world, it was very sunny and nice. First I went out to a cafe to eat some yummy food. After we ate our delicious food, we got back onto the sidewalk. The sidewalk was pretty good until we got near some businesses and then the sidewalk got really busy. So, I pulled down my doggy bag and let Mia go in and then Leo went in. I zipped up the mesh pouch so they could still see out. I put Max in my doggy backpack. Then, I went to a bookstore and got some new Harry Potter books. My copies were getting kind of crumbly. Then I went back to Hogwarts and when I got to Hogwarts, I went to the Slytherin Common Room. Max jumped onto my bed and curled up. Then Mia jumped out of the carrying bag with little Leo in her teeth. She jumped onto my bed. I showed February cute little Leo. Then I showed Scarlet. Then I went back to my bed. I cozied Leo up in the one window in the Slytherin Common Room that was above my bed. Then Mia jumped up into the window next to Leo. Then, after checking that Max was asleep on my bed, I went up with all the other Slytherin to have dinner in the Great Hall. After that, I went down to the Slytherin Common Room and cozied up in my bed to read Harry Potter. Once I finished that, I fell asleep. Slytherin Adventures One day, I had this really cool idea that I told to Prof. Scarlet. I said, “Hey Scarlet, I had this cool idea that I thought Slytherins would really like. I think that Slytherins would really enjoy if we had a Slytherin movie night.” Scarlet said, “Ok. That sounds like a good idea. I think Slytherins would really like it. I like it.” So, I told all the Slytherins my idea. All the students worked really hard on their homework that day. I went around because I'd finished all my classes to see if I could help anyone. I helped as many people as I could. After I helped people, I went and got everybody Harry Potter matching pajamas with face masks and sleep masks. Then when I got back, I handed stuff out to everybody. After everybody finished their homework, they did some fun games together. I went over and petted our house pet Cinnamon, our pet snake. Then after I hanged out with Cinnamon, I went to see Inky, Scarlet's pet lizard. I hanged out with Inky for a while, then I went back to Max and Mia and Leo. I went outside with them and threw toys for them to grab and run back to me. Then, after a little while, I went back to the common room and read some Harry Potter and tickled Max and Mia and especially Leo. Then, everybody got cozy in their pajamas. I put pajamas on Max and Mia and even Leo. Then, I put on mine. Then I went upstairs and got some cozy couches and chairs and a lot of blankets. I got on the couch in the middle. Max and Mia sat next to me and Leo sat on my lap. We watched all of the Harry Potter movies. It was really fun! I knitted scarves with my hands while we watched the movies. So, when we were done, I had done so many that I put them all in a box and when everyone fell asleep, I put one on everybody's bed with little tags on them so nobody got theirs mixed up with anyone else. I put on Max's and Mia's and Leo's. I wrapped up my scarf and put it at the end of my bed. Then I went to bed. When I woke up, I tiptoed out of the Slytherin common room into the kitchen because I woke up before anyone else. I asked the house elves to make me a burrito and a glass of water and a big bowl of ice cream. Then I went into the Great Hall to eat my food. It was really pretty because there were little lights hanging all over the Great Hall. Then I went up to the astronomy tower so I could look through a telescope. Then after that, I went down to the Slytherin common room and I took the couches and chairs from our movie night and put them in little groups all around the room. Then, I quietly videochatted with my sister. As soon as everyone woke up, they opened up their scarves. After everybody figured out it was me, they thanked me. Then all of us got into our swimsuits and went to Hogwarts Pool to have a little pool party together. The Puppy and the Cat Adventures One day I was at Hogsmeade with my new little puppies Leo and Emmie, Leo's little twin sister, and my pugs Max and Mia. I'd put Mia and Leo and Emmie in one side of my dog bag and Max in the other side of my bag. I was walking around and I saw Hermione so I said, “Hi Hermines.” She said, “Oh, hey Hannah.” I asked, “How's Crookshanks?” She said, “He's good.” I asked, “Do you know where Crookshanks' mom is?” Hermione said, “I think she's at Meow Camp right now.” Meow Camp is a wizarding world animal shelter. I took a little flight to Meow Camp. When I found Crookshanks' mom, I bent down and patted her head. She said, “Meow … meow … meow.” Then I gave her a big hug! Her tongue came out and licked my cheek. I decided to get the cat and I named her Willow. Then, I brought everybody home. As soon as I let Leo and Emmie out, they ran to the kitchen with Mia right behind them. Then, Willow followed behind Mia and I followed behind carrying Max. When I got in there, I poured out some doggy rainbow balls for Leo and Emmie. Then, I moved them off to the corner so they wouldn't be in the way of me feeding everyone else. Then, I gave Mia some little doggy chocolate chip cookies. She ate them up and said, “Yaythanks!” Then, I grabbed some cat food and poured some out for Willow. She went under one of my chairs to eat her food. Then, I gave Max some water with some carrot chips. He went under my other chair. After everybody ate, I went outside because it was really warm out. I pulled out my kiddie pool and filled it with some water so Leo and Emmie could float around in some water. Then, I walked over to my other pool and while I was walking over there, there was a big splash from my big pool, then a little “meow.” Willow had jumped into my pool. I walked over to the edge of my pool with Max and Mia by my side and counted, “1 … 2 … 3.” On 3, all three of us jumped at the same time. We played around for a little bit in my pool, then I got out so I could keep an eye on both of the pools. After a little bit, Emmie came over to me and put her little face right on top of mine and licked me. Then I gave her a little doggy hug. Then Leo came over and they both put their little faces up on my cheeks and licked me. Then Willow jumped out of my pool and went over to one of my lounge chairs. Then, Mia jumped out and ran over to her 2 little puppies, Leo and Emmie. Then Max jumped out and ran over to Mia and the pups. Then I let everybody dry off. Then after that, I went inside and made up a little picnic basket. Then, I went outside again and set up a picnic blanket and we had a picnic lunch together. The Snow Adventures One winter's day, I woke up and the first thing I did was jump up and get myself into a sweater, sweat pants, and thick socks. The only other people that were awake were my French Bulldog puppies Emmie and Leo. So, I bundled them up in a blanket so just their little noses stuck out. Then, I went over to a comfy chair by my fireplace to warm up. Then, after I warmed up for a little bit, I went over to my window and drew the snow outside. Then, after I did that, I slid out of my outfit and put on my new ski outfit (a green jacket with green pants and green Converse sneakers). Then, I put on Leo's new little green sneakers and ski outfit and Emmie's little sneakers and outfit. Then, I grabbed a crate with some cozy blankets in it. Then, I popped on my helmet and their little helmets. Then, I put Emmie and Leo in the crate and put the crate in the back of my little sleigh. I jumped into the front and buckled myself in. I put my feet underneath where the pedals were, where it was nice and toasty. After a little while of driving around, I noticed that the sun was out. I wondered if that was the sun of winter. I said, “Hey pups. Let's head back before all this snow melts and we don't have a way to get home.” My sleigh is powered on snow so if there is no snow, it stops. On our way home, I saw a little puppy that was freezing cold because it was snowing out. It was a little adult French Bulldog. I stopped my sleigh and said, “Stay here pups” I hopped out of my sleigh and slowly approached the dog. As soon as I got close to it, it ran as fast as it could and gave me a big doggy hug. I scooped it up and brought it back to my sleigh and put it on the cozy blankets with Leo and Emmie. I got home and saw Willow sitting in the window watching for me. Max was sitting next to Willow. I stopped my sleigh and walked over and opened my door. I knew Mia was probably standing on the other side of the door waiting for me to open it. She ran over to my sleigh. While she was saying hi to the puppies, I took the other dog wrapped up in the cozy blanket inside and set it on my bed. I went back out and grabbed the crate and brought it inside. I put Mia in the crate. I went back out and shut down my sleigh. I pushed it next to my house and locked it onto my wall. Then, I closed the door and called, “Kitties and doggies, do you know what time it is? It's food time.” All the puppies and Willow followed purring and ran into my humongous kitchen. I walked in behind everyone else. I gave Emmie and Leo doggy chocolate balls and put their bowls in the corner with a water bowl. I gave Willow a little cat food and some pink bubblegum balls. I gave Max some doggy chocolate that was shaped in little rockets. I gave my new doggy (Miss Cutesy) a little bit of doggy stir fry. I gave myself some strawberry heart waffles with some lemon snitch waffles on the side. After everybody ate, I put everybody in little ski outfits that matched to keep everybody warm. I got my sleigh ready. I put Mia and the puppies in my crate. Max was on the Max blanket set up next to me. Then I put Miss Cutesy on my lap. I moved the sleigh. I went to a muggle cafe where I got some water for the dogs and a lavender smoothie for myself. Then, I grabbed my phone and took a selfie with all my doggies and Willow. The Quidditch Adventure in Diagon Alley One day, I decided to go to Diagon Alley with my dogs and cat. First, I got dressed in a Slytherin tank top and some Gyffindor shorts with Ravenclaw socks and Hufflepuff shoes. Then, for my hair, I curled it and put a tiara in my hair. Then I grabbed my cooling jacket and my dog bag. I put Max in the bag on one side and Mia on the other side. I put Miss Cutesy, Leo and Emmie in the center. Max curled up first and went to sleep. Then, after I got all the dogs in, I zipped up the mesh door. I threw on my fancy sunglasses and mask. I put the leashes and dog treats in the side pockets of my doggy bag. Then, I ran into the kitchen and grabbed myself a few snacks. I grabbed my backpack and put my snacks into my backpack. Then, I grabbed my skateboard. I pushed through my wall into Diagon Alley. Then, I jumped on my skateboard. I decided to first go to Quidditch To The End because I needed a new pair of Quidditch socks and I was going to get some Quidditch fabric. So, I skateboarded over there. Finally, when I got there, I opened the snitch door handle and I went inside. The first thing I found was the fabric. I picked out fabric with a blue background and little yellow snitches. Then I found one fabric that was light blue and had goal posts on it. So, I picked out those two. Then, I bought them and put them in my shopping bag that I bring around with me everywhere. After I bought those, I walked around a little more. While I was walking to the back of the store, I saw this really cute phone case that had little goal posts and a snitch going through them and a grassy part with bleachers on the sides. So, I picked that one out. Then, I saw in the baking department, a snitch cookie cutter so I grabbed that. Then, I walked into the shoe department and saw a pair that were my size. They had snitches and red sequins that could turn back to white. The snitches could be yellow or orange. I tried them on and they fit. I grabbed those. Finally I got to the sock department where I grabbed the pair that I wanted. But I also saw some other Harry Potter socks so I grabbed all the ones that I could. Then I walked up to the counter and paid for everything. Then, once I was outside, I dumped all my new stuff into my backpack. Then, I remembered something else that I wanted to get in the Quidditch store. So, I turned around and walked back in. I bought 6 Quidditch-themed collars and leashes. Then, I grabbed out some other collars that I'd gotten but wouldn't fit and donated them to the Quidditch store. Then I was getting kind of thirsty so I skateboarded over to The Three Broomsticks. When I got there, I walked inside and put my skateboard and my bags into a little cubby and locked it. Then I walked in to the other part where I got myself a butterbeer. Then I got myself a twister, which is ice cream and cream mixed together. So, the ice cream melts and it dyes the cream and changes the color. The dye spins around as it melts, which is why it's called the twister. After I finished those, when I tried to get up, I was stuck between two stools. So, what I had to do was I had to order another butterbeer and spill it on my legs so the stools would let me go. I went back to my locker and unlocked it. I got my skateboard and my bags. I went outside and jumped on my skateboard. Then I went to an indoor pool place. I skateboarded there and when I got there, I left all the dogs and Willow in my bag. I put my backpack down and slipped off my shoes and socks and tank top and shorts so I just had my swimsuit on. I ran and splashed into the pool. I splashed around for a couple minutes to cool off. Then, I got back out, changed into my Gryffindor shirt, Slytherin shorts, Hufflepuff socks, and Ravenclaw shoes. Then I went outside and jumped on my skateboard with all my bags. I raced to Gymnastic World. When I got there, I went in and put my skateboard in my locker and got all my dogs and my cat out. I put my bag and my skateboard in a locker. Then, I locked my locker. Then, I slipped off my shoes and socks. Then, I started running with the dogs. When we got to the main area, I went over to the handstand place and I started doing handstands with some other people while the dogs and the cat went over to the racing line. For the racing, there was a max of 6 so I had the perfect amount. After a few more handstands, I sat down with everyone else to watch the dogs and cat race. The race started and it looked like the dogs were going to win but then inches away from the finish line, Willow came racing up and passed first. I called, “Yay! Good Willow!” “Meow,” she responded. Then I hanged out there the rest of the day. At the end of the day, I put the dogs back in my bag, grabbed the rest of my bags and my skateboard, and ran outside. Then I skateboarded really fast home because it was pitch black and I didn't know what kind of dark wizard might be out. So, finally I got back to my wall and pushed back into my house. The first thing I did was slip off my shoes and socks, open my bag and let the dogs out, opened the bags and took out all my stuff. I changed out my phone case to the new Quidditch one I'd gotten. Then, I put the Quidditch leashes and collars in the bag. Then, I put my rolls of fabric up with my other rolls. Then I turned on my paper lantern party string lights and globe string lights. Then I turned on some quiet relaxing music. I made some little blankets for the dogs and Willow. I made Willow's blanket with some willow tree fabric. After I made Willow's, I gave it to Willow. Willow brought it up to her window seat, curled up on it, and fell asleep. Then, I made one blanket that was half for Max and half for Mia. Max's side had little basketballs and Mia's side had butterflies on it. Then, I made a Quidditch blanket for Emmie, Leo, and Miss Cutesy. Then I made myself a Harry Potter house blanket. After I did that, I changed into some Slytherin pajamas, turned off my little lights, and I decided to keep the music on to help me fall asleep. The music was set that as soon as I fell asleep, it would turn off. It would start playing as soon as I woke up. Then, I fell asleep thinking about my awesome blanket. The Black Sun Adventures One day, I woke up and felt like I should have another adventure with Mia, Max, Leo, Emmie, Willow, and Miss Cutesy. I jumped up and got dressed in a black shirt and green hoodie. The hoodie has no sleeves so my black sleeves were showing underneath. Then, I pulled on a pair of pants that I had made out of blankets. I slid on a pair of brown boots. Then, I threw my hair back in a ponytail. I went over to the window to wake up Willow and I saw a black sun. So, I asked, “Is today the day of black sun?” I woke up Willow and got her in a cozy cat bag. My cat bag is the size of a regular bag but has a mesh door. The doggy bag is duffle bag size. Willow gave me her usual morning hello - “Meow.” I opened the door on the bag and she ran in. Then I put the bag down on my bed, pressed the button on the top of the bag to turn on some little lights inside, and then I grabbed my backpack and went to the kitchen and put a few snacks in. Then, I quickly made myself a blueberry smoothie and put it in one of the side pouches on my backpack. Then I went back into my bedroom. The first thing I did when I went into my bedroom was pick up little Mia and I rocked her back and forth. Then, I opened up the little door on my doggy bag. The first person to notice it was open was little Leo. He ran in and cozied himself under some blankets. Then Emmie ran in and cozied next to Leo. Then Miss Cutesy went in and I zipped up the little door. Then, I put Max in his new little doggie-mobile. It's like a kid car that they drive around. Then I opened up my door and little Max drive through. Then I grabbed my skateboard. I unzipped the doggy door and I let Miss Cutesy out. I put her on the sidewalk and she started skateboarding beside Max. Then I unzipped Willow's pouch and I put Willow in the seat next to Max. Then, I opened up a doggy pouch and let Leo and Emmie out. I put them in the car with Willow and Max. Then, I put Miss Cutesy in the middle seat between Max and Willow. I picked up my skateboard and put it in my bag. I put the dog and cat bags into my backpack. Then, I walked behind the little car, rocking Mia. Then after I knew Mia was asleep again, I jumped on my skateboard and started skateboarding after the dogs. When it began to get dark, I crossed the street and the little doggy-mobile followed me. When we got home, I put the doggy-mobile back in the corner with the cat bag and the dog bag. I put my backpack down by my bed. I pulled out my phone from my bag and put it on my little dresser. Willow jumped back to her cozy window. Max and Miss Cutesy and Leo and Emmie went to my other window. Then, I changed into my Slytherin pajamas and put Mia in her matching Slytherin pajamas. Then, I got into bed, grabbed my phone, put on some music of Mia's favorite fall asleep song list. Then, I got under my covers with Mia. When I woke up the next morning, I saw that when Mia had fallen asleep, she had been licking my face so it was really cute. Then, I scratched her head to wake her up. Then, Mia and me got into matching outfits. I grabbed my backpack. Then I opened the door, walked out with Mia, and locked my door. I went to a little morning cafe where we had breakfast together. After we ate, I pulled out my phone and took a photo of us, which I sent to Willow to let Willow know that we were ok. We just went out to eat some food together. The Picnic Ponders One day, I woke up and got dressed in overalls with a green shirt, and braided my hair. Then I slipped on some really cozy sandals that I had made for myself. Then, I went into the kitchen, made myself a bowl of chicken noodle soup and threw some cooked pasta into it. Then I cooked up a little stir fry bowl for Mia and Max and Miss. Cutesy. I made a potato shaped like a bone for Emmie and Leo to munch on. I made up a little fish stew with mouse tails for Willow. Then, I pressed the bottom of my microphone so that I could talk to Mia and Willow. Willow heard it first and said, “Meow.” When I told her that I'd made her a special stew, she said, “Meow! Meow!” She tapped Max and he said, “Woof woof.” Max ran into the kitchen. He started eating his breakfast. Willow went and woke up Mia. Mia woke up Miss Cutesy. Miss Cutesy woke up Leo. Leo woke up Emmie. Then they all came running into the kitchen. I pressed the button on the wall that folded back Willow's microphone so it wouldn't get broken from her eating. Then everybody ate their food. I went and hid and Max and Mia had to find me. Then Miss Cutesy hid with Leo and Emmie. Then after we played for a while, I looked at my watch and said, “Oh, it's lunch time.” I grabbed a picnic blanket and went outside. I put the picnic blanket down and grabbed the dogs' and cat's bowls, then filled them up with what they'd have for lunch. Then I made myself a smoothie and a peanut butter and banana sandwich. After I ate my food, I decided to stretch my legs. I decided to sing to all of my plants. I looked at each flower, singing and skipping. I was having a lot of fun until I fell into a rabbit hole. Luckily it was an old rabbit who was wise and was very kind. He helped me back out. Then I packed up our picnic and went inside. I put everything down when I went inside. Then I put everybody but me in a room where they could play soccer together. Then I went across the hall with my skateboard where February and Lucia were waiting for me with their skateboards. They asked, “Do you want to race?” I said, “Sure.” I counted, “1... 2 ...” and put down my skateboard. Then I counted, “3.” Lucia and February put their skateboards down. I shouted, “Go” and took off at a medium pace. Then, at the very end, when they were just an inch from the finish line, I rocketed past them and got first. Then, after we finished that race, we all left the room and went to the door across the hall. They were just about to start the game when they realized that they needed somebody to referee so I volunteered to be the referee. It was Willow, Max, and Mia on one team. Miss Cutesy and Leo and Emmie were on the other team. The first person I had to whistle out was Miss Cutesy because she was trying to trample Leo. Then Willow for trying to scratch Emmie. Then I saw that Max was getting tired and I whistled him over so he could curl up and fall asleep. Then I whistled out Emmie for trying to distract Mia. So, Mia and Leo won. Then we left and everybody was tired so they curled up in their cozy beds together. Then I put on a sweater, grabbed my backpack, grabbed my smoothie off the table, changed into my green Converse. I grabbed everybody's hands and walked outside. I locked up my house and we got in my car and drove to Hogwarts. When we got to Hogwarts, we went straight down to the Dungeons where we curled up and fell asleep in our beds. The Mountain Adventures One day, I woke up and jumped out of bed. I got dressed in my smiley face tank top and my blue shorts and my smiley face Converse sneakers. I brushed my hair and put it in a loose ponytail. Then I did my normal puppy/cat wakeup call. The first person to come to me was my new puppy Rocket, followed behind by Emmie, Leo, Max, Mia, Miss Cutesy, and Willow at the end meowing all the way. When everybody was there, I popped on everybody's smiley face collars, even though Willow didn't want to put hers on. So, instead I gave her a star collar and leash. Then, I went into the kitchen and gave everybody their breakfast. While all the cats and dogs were eating breakfast, I went and grabbed my hiking bag and my regular bag. After I grabbed my bags, I grabbed some water bottles. I packed a picnic lunch. I whistled and everybody came. Then, I grabbed everybody's leashes and walked out of the kitchen and into my bedroom. I walked out my front door and locked it up. After I locked up my house, I went to my car. I opened up the back and let Mia, Miss Cutesy, Emmie and Leo into the doggy area I set up in my car. I also put Rocket in. Then, I went to the middle row, opened up my door and put Willow in her new cat carseat, and set the carseat to rock with peaceful music. Then, I closed up the middle door and went to the front and unlocked it. I put Max in his new doggy carseat. After I got him in there, I set it to country music for him to listen to. Then, I got into my seat. I drove over to Aurelia's house and Aurelia got in. Then, I drove to February's house and February got in. Then I drove to Lucia's house and Lucia got in. Then, I drove to Mt. Rockmore. When we got there, I got Max out and put him in my hiking bag that is specially made for him with a special water spout that he can drink from if he gets hot. Then, Aurelia slid out and came to walk next to me with February and Lucia. I went to the back and I skipped over Willow because she was asleep and I didn't want to make an angry kitty. I went to the back and let Mia out. Then, I let out Miss Cutesy and gave her to Aurelia to walk. Then, I gave Leo and Emmie to February and Lucia to walk. Then I grabbed Rocket and put him in my little mesh pouch on my shirt so that he could keep cool because there was a little pool in the pocket. If he gets too hot, he can dive completely into the water. Before I locked up my car, I went over by Willow and put the dark setting on the car and put little stars above her carseat that she could check out if she woke up. I also put some little blankets on her to keep her warm. Before I left the car, I pulled out my phone and took a selfie of her because she was so cute. Then, I locked up the car. Then we all started up the mountain When we got to the top of the mountain, I could tell that all the doggies were happy because they all came and lay on me to show their appreciation. We hung out at the top of the mountain for about 5 minutes to get some water and hang out. Then, I thought I'd check my phone before we went down. I had a text from Miss Pawterful (also known as Willow) saying, “Where are you? I'm sitting in this car that is pitch dark. Also, thank you for the relaxing music. Also those blankets were nice and toasty. Come back soon. I'm pawing for you.” Then I wrote, “Hi Willow. We're almost there. I love you so much.” Then I went over to my app that controlled the seat and I knew that Willow was awake so I put on the disco light effect in the car. Then I put my phone back in my bag and we all headed down. When we got back to the car, Willow was so focused on the disco effect that she didn't realize we were there. First I opened up the back of the car and put in Mia, Miss Cutesy, Leo, Emmie and Rocket. I closed up the back of the car. Then, I opened the door for February, Lucia, and Aurelia and they slid in. Then, I went over and put Max in his little carseat. Then I put on some light drumming music. Then I gave Max a new device for dogs that is like a phone and they can do fun apps. Then I buckled him in and closed the door. Then I went to my side of the car, opened the door, and slid in. Then I drove all of us to my house. When we got there, I let all the dogs and Willow out and all my friends out. Then the first thing I did when we were inside was I slid on some shorts and a pug tank top and slid off my shoes. I took all the dogs off their leashes and collars. Then after that I made up some strawberry lemonade for everyone to have. Everybody drank it because everybody was really hot. Then I put Willow and Mia and Leo and Emmie and Miss Cutesy into my soccer room for them to play around with their soccer ball. I put Max on my bed with his game device to play around with. I put Rocket next to him to watch him play and help him. I knew Max would probably let Rocket play a few games because Max is nice. Then, me and February and Lucia and Aurelia changed into swimsuits and we went outside and splashed around in my pool. After everybody splashed around for a little bit, we went back inside and we watched one of the games with the pups. Then I told the pups and Willow that that was their last game. Then, we all went out of the room and I helped Willow up into her window. Then, I put all the other pups in my other window. Then, I pulled out some extra bunk beds and February and Aurelia and Lucia got into them. February and Aurelia shared one bunk bed, and Lucia and I shared the other bunk bed. Everybody fell asleep. My Defense Against the Dark Arts When I am 64, I will be a Hogwarts professor and Head of House for Slytherin. I will teach Defense Against the Dark Arts with my assistants, Professors February, Lucia and Aurelia. I will teach the class to Slytherin and Ravenclaw students. The first part of the class is you come and practice defensive spells. Then, you do art with me. Then you eat lunch in the classroom. After you eat lunch, then Professor Aurelia will teach you dance. Then, with Professor February, you have reading time. After reading time, you go out to the lake and swim around with the weird creatures. Then, the Slytherin and Ravenclaw students go to their common rooms to do research and video call other students in the class with their smart watches that come along with the class. Then, we all go outside to the greenhouses where Professor Lucia will teach gardening the defensive plants. Then, it is nap time. After nap time, you can sew something for another member of Hogwarts. Then, we meet everybody's pets. Then we go to a Quidditch game and have dinner to eat during the game. Everybody in the class gets comfy chairs with their house animal sewn onto them. All the chairs are in a circle, All the students can also bring their pets into class. Rocket, my pet puppy, is always in class. I do a lot of group projects with the 2 houses. At night, Professor February does astrology lessons assisted by me. Those are the teachers for the Slytherin students. The professors for the Ravenclaw students are Professors Sindor, Gail and Silvana. In the middle of the day, there is a dance party to stretch our legs together with Slytherin and Ravenclaw mixing together. In my class, all of the students get celebrated on their birthdays. Also, a lot in my class, we go out into the Muggle world to eat in some restaurants with my best behaved students. Sometimes I let some of my higher-grade students teach some stuff that they know. We always have picnic lunches when the weather is nice. Some of the time during my classes, I let my students go wild and create whatever they want to create. Sometimes we have some board games time. That sounds really fun, but I make my students have a quiz every single month. We also take breaks sometimes and let Ravenclaws jump on our Slytherin trampoline. I have fences along the entire room to keep students from falling because the class is in a hanging room. It is set up so there is a Ravenclaw area, then a workspace for both houses with a fence in between, Slytherin trampoline, then a green brick wall over into the Slytherin talking area. Then, we have a little brown tent wall with a zipper that opens into the Slytherin nap area. I have a slide that goes down to the ground when I need to get food or drinks or extra supplies. I have hooks in each space for bags and stuff. Everybody in each class can choose what they want for food and drinks that I'll get especially from the kitchen. Also, the work space is also the dance floor. The DADA room is right above the astronomy tower. I can move the room around whenever I need to if the students ask. I have a slide that goes down to the floor. I make special class t-shirts and I have no dress code for my classroom. The one thing that I do have is that as soon as you get up there, you are required to take off your shoes. Everybody stays in the classroom so we have lots of sleepovers in the classroom a lot. The Arctic Adventures One day I woke up and I jumped out of bed and put my thickest arctic clothes on and my snow outfit. Then I pulled out everybody's matching snow outfits to match mine. I popped on everybody's collars. Then I went to the kitchen and poured Willow some cat food and everybody else some fried chicken. Then I pulled out my hot cocoa jar with some nice soup and a sandwich. Then, I grabbed my snow goggles and my mask that had built-in heating. I grabbed little goggles for the cat and all the dogs. Then I grabbed some extra blankets and I grabbed everybody. Then I went outside and locked up my house. Then I got in my carmobile with built-in warm heating. I wrapped Max up in blankets with his paws out so he could still play on his device. Then, I put him in his doggy carseat with his game device. I put Willow's seat right next to Max's. I wrapped Willow up in blankets and put Willow in her seat and buckled her up. I gave her a cat GPS so she could track where we were at. Then I put Willow's seat to sleepy mode with relaxing music and a star mobile. I also set Max's seat to light drumming that he likes. Then I put in Miss Cutesy's seat and I wrapped Miss Cutesy up in blankets. I gave her a doggy map of the jungle. I buckled her in and set it to tropical, which had jungle sounds and a nature mobile. Then I put Mia's seat in. I wrapped Mia in blankets and put her in her seat and set it to a band concert with music. I gave her drumsticks to tap on her knees. I gave her a piece of paper and colored pencils so she could draw after she finished tapping her knees with the drumsticks I gave her. Then, I put all 3 puppies in a terrarium tank hanging from the ceiling. Then, I got in my seat and turned on my radio to my favorite song where people are squirting each other with water guns. Then I put in my tracking earbud. I buckled in and took off. I pulled out my phone and started playing games on it because the carmobile was electric and self-driving. Above my bed, I have a cute animal mobile. Finally we got to Antarctica and I looked around. All the dogs were asleep but Willow was awake on her tracking device. When I saw that, I pulled out my phone from where I set it down and I went into the tracking app. I turned it off and I put on Willow's favorite British cat show. I also turned down the light on the tracking device so she could fall asleep easier. Then I slid out of my mobile just for a minute and all the snow waved at me. I thought, “The North remembers me.” Then, I jumped back into the car and got myself some of the hot cocoa with marshmallows in it. Then I locked up the car and went to the back of the mobile where my cozy bed is with my phone. When I got to the bed, I curled up under the covers with my phone. Then, I turned on a video with an interview of Daniel Radcliffe as a kid. Then I fell asleep listening to that, which was really good. When I woke up, I slid out to the other part and noticed that Max was awake. Then I pulled out my phone and went over to Max and turned it to Max's favorite show – K9 Friends Adventures. Then I saw that Mia was starting to wake up and it was still really early. I went over to Mia and turned her device to her favorite show – K9 Girls Have All the Ks. I saw Miss Cutesy was starting to wake up so I went over to her and turned on Jazzy Lemons, the show that Mia is the main character. Then the 3 pups started to wake up so I went over to them and turned on Milo and Otis for them. Then I went back to my side and started making some hot food so people would have something to eat. I made up some steaming rice and some hot chicken-beef mix. Then I put some hot chicken soup in a little bowl and put a little bit of lemon in it. I knew Max was probably smelling the yummy food so I unbuckled him. I unwrapped him and led him to the back where I gave him some of the chicken noodle soup with lemon. Before I gave it to Max, I added all of Max's medicine to it. Then I gave it to Max and he gobbled it up. After Max ate, he got into his carseat that I turned into a comfy armchair for him so he could get back to playing his games. Then I made up some fish wrapped up in bamboo leaves. I knew Willow would probably have smelled the yummy food so I went out and unbuckled Willow. She came in and gobbled up all the fish wrapped up in bamboo leaves. Then everybody else came and ate their food. After everybody ate breakfast, I got everybody back in their carseats and I buckled myself back in. We started back home and I turned on our favorite channel – Family Together. When we got home, I got everyone out and we all went inside and fell asleep. When I woke up, I jumped out of bed and got dressed in a Minnie Mouse t-shirt. My jeans had different Disney character faces sewn onto them. Then I slid on some really cute boots. I curled my hair. Then I grabbed Max and put him in a really cute sweatshirt that had pugs dressed as Disney Princesses. Then I jumped in my car with Max and I drove us to London where we went to Disneyland together and had a lot of fun. The Bicycle Adventure One day, I woke up, jumped out of bed, and put on a Hogwarts castle t-shirt with some ripped up jeans and some Converse sneakers. I threw my hair back into a ponytail. Then, I put Mia in a matching outfit. Then, I put Max in a two wands connecting t-shirt with little green shorts and little brown boots. Then I put Miss Cutesy in a Ravenclaw tank top and a spring flowers skirt and little sandals. I put Emmie in a lemon dress. Then I put Rocket in a blue tank top, blue shorts, and blue Converse sneakers. I put Leo in an orange tank top with blue shorts and red Converse sneakers. Then, I grabbed my backpack and I went outside with the dogs. I jumped on my bike and put Max in the little seat behind me. There was a big umbrella above us. Then I put Mia and Miss Cutesy on a doggy-sized bicycle. Then I put Leo, Emmie and Rocket in my bicycle basket. Then I grabbed my phone out of my backpack and put it on my handlebars. I turned on the “High Flying, Adored” song to listen to. Then, we took off. After a while, I got tired so I drove up to a Dutch Bros. and I ordered a rainbow sprinkle smoothie blend and put it in my cup holder in front of me. Then I ordered a water for Max and put it in the Max dog cup holder. He started drinking it as soon as I set it down for him. I got Mia a doggy strawberry smoothie and for Miss Cutesy, a doggy blueberry smoothie. Then I got a little lemon smoothie for Emmie, Leo, and Rocket to share. Then, we took off again. After riding around for a while, we stopped at a cafe were we had some breakfast. I got strawberry and banana pancakes. I got stir fry for all the dogs to niggle on. After we ate breakfast, we went out to the beach that was right outside the cafe and played around. Then I noticed that Rocket was getting cold. So, we stopped playing at the beach and went along the boardwalk. I found a little sea green jacket for Rocket and a dark purple jacket for Emmie. For Leo, I got him a red jacket. Then I got Miss Cutesy a Hogwarts shirt as a jacket. Then I went right next door to the human jacket store and I got myself a white one. I got Max and Mia matching smaller white jackets. After we got jackets, we went back to the cafe and ate lunch. Then we went to a wizarding world escape room. Then we played on the beach a little more. Then I went to the bike store and got myself a green helmet and I got Max a smaller one. I got Miss Cutesy and Mia lavender helmets. Then we went back to the cafe and had dinner. We rode home. I put our bikes and helmets away. Then we went outside to my backyard and jumped on the trampoline together. Then we went back inside and we curled up all in my bed for a doggy-rific sleep. Dividing Dogs and Cat One day, I woke up, jumped out of bed, and got dressed in a crop top, shorts, and sandals. I threw my hair back in a ponytail. Then, I ran over to the doggies and popped on their sky blue collars. I decided to leave Willow at home so I could do something with her later. I decided to greatly divide them. Then, I grabbed the pups' little swimsuits and my backpack. I waved my wand over all of us and that popped us right to the beach.
The first thing when we got there was I got Mia in her red swimsuit with blue bubbles on it. Then I put Max in his wave trunks. I put Miss Cutesy in a bright yellow swimsuit. Then I put Rocket in a red swimsuit with a rocket in outer space on it. I put Emmie and Leo in light blue swimsuits but to make it a little different, I gave Emmie's a little frill at the bottom and the top. Leo's has little buttons on the front. Then we splashed around for a little bit. Then I saw Sky with her labradoodle and so I splashed over and said, “Hey Sky.” Then, we popped home where I got Willow in an adorable yellow shirt with green skirt and brown boots. I put on a matching outfit. I popped the dogs off their leashes. Then, after saying bye to the dogs and making sure I had my bag and my wand, I popped us to the mall with Willow and headed to Cats Leggings Pop. I found Willow a beautiful blue pair that had a big red splotch of paint on the front and a yellowy-blue mix. They were really pretty. There was a mesh part on the sides. Then I went to Shirts Colors Pop Show where I found a really cute brown shirt with stars on the side and a black pattern. I found one in Willow's size that matched. Then I headed over to the food courts to get something to eat. When I saw Silvana. I said, “Hey Silvana.” She said, “Hey Hannah. How are you liking Indonesia?” I said, “It is really cool. I especially like this mall.” I gave her a hug and popped back home where I curled up and hanged out with Max. I fell asleep holding Max. Hannah Lovegood Writer, Slytherin One day, there were these beautiful pumpkins that were growing in Miss Petunia's back yard. One day Mr. Grapasaurus, her neighbor, snuck into her backyard and stole 10 pumpkins for a bonfire party that he was planning. But nobody came to his party so he needed more pumpkins. This time, he stole 20 pumpkins. Miss Petunia was out of town and a couple people came to his second pumpkin bonfire. He kept stealing more and more pumpkins until he stole all of Miss Petunia's pumpkins, which Miss Petunia noticed. She smelled the bonfire and she walked over to her neighbor's yard and saw that it was him, Mr. Grapasaurus, that had stolen her pumpkins.
Miss Petunia called the police on Mr. Grapasaurus and she waited by her fence so she could keep an eye on him and keep an eye on her driveway. She was getting a little tired so she planned to go inside but she knew she couldn't leave. Then, she felt a tiny little tap on her leg. There was one of her other neighbors, Lulu Woodsketch. Lulu was 5 years old. Lulu said, “I can watch him. You can go rest.” Then Lulu called her older brother Neal Leo Woodsketch. He was 18 years old. She called Neal Leo so quiet Mr. Grapasaurus couldn't hear. Lulu told Neal, “You watch for the police and I'll watch him. If I need your help, I'll call for you.” Then Lulu called Violet Weenberry, who is her cousin, to go to the other side of the fence to watch that side. Violet was 7 years old. Lulu and Violet could see each other but Mr. Grapasaurus couldn't see them. The police showed up and one went to the back door and one went to the front door. Another went to Lulu and another went to Violet. Mr. Grapasaurus tried to get out one of his side exits. He tried to get out Violet's side first but she grabbed his legs, flipped up into a handstand, and put her feet up on his shoulders. Then, she kicked him over with her feet. Then, Lulu opened up the other side of the fence and ran in. While Violet kicked over Mr. Grapasaurus, the police ran by her and grabbed everyone that was at the pumpkin bonfire and stuck them in all of the backup police cars. Then after Violet knocked down Mr. Grapasaurus, she did the splits on top of him and then did 3 handstands across him, then spun across him, then kicked him over and started to dance on his back. Then, Violet lifted him up with one hand and carried him to the next town and to that police station. While Violet was doing that and before the police took everybody away, Lulu grabbed everybody that was at the bonfire and carried everybody to all the different cars and she had to do a handstand to do that like her cousin Violet did. Then after that, she ran back to her cousin Violet and while she was running back, Mrs. Weenberry stopped her and asked, “Do you know where Violet is? I thought she was supposed to be with you?” Lulu said, “She is with me. We went over to Miss Petunia's house to help her because Mr. Grapasaurus is there trying to steal all of her pumpkins. Then, he was having a bonfire with all of these people. So, we were helping her get everybody where they belonged. If you follow me, I can show you. And if you really want, you can ride on my shoulders. It wouldn't hurt me. I carried 5 people on my shoulders already to get them into the right squad cars.” So, they both went and found Violet and after the police left, Mrs. Woodsketch and Mrs. Weenberry and Violet and Lulu and Neal Leo and Miss Petunia all went to the corner of Miss Petunia's yard and they all grabbed out their wands and said, “Magic is a wonder. It is like a wonderland of wands and magic. That's how much fun it is.” Hannah Lovegood Writer, Slytherin Once upon a time, there was a beautiful frozen lake that everybody went to because, when the lake was alone, it built benches and made more ice skates and fed the animals that lived around the frozen lake. When people came, they could skate around and sit down when they needed to until one day the lake melted. Nobody could come and ice skate because it was just liquid. And the sun came and evaporated it all up. All the benches and all the ice skates melted because they were made of water too.
One day, two little monkeys that liked to ice skate decided to go to the frozen, magical lake (as they called it). When they discovered that there was no lake, they started doing little monkey calls. The big Koala Monster who was their leader came running. When their leader showed up, he tickled the little monkeys out of his way and he tried to find where the water had gone but he didn't see anything. He saw that the lake had been swallowed by the ground. He saw the sun and he said, “Wait a minute. The sun can suck things up. The sun made it disappear.” He did not tell the monkeys because he thought he was too better for the monkeys. Then 2 little monkeys started to cry and this girl heard them crying and came out. She asked, “Why are you crying?” The monkeys said, “We were wanting to ice skate on the lake that used to be here.” The girl said, “What do you need to restart that? Do you need water?” “Yes,” the monkeys said. “And do you need the sun to go away so it doesn't melt?” she asked. The monkeys said, “Yes.” So, the girl ran into her house, grabbed a bucket, filled it with water, and grabbed her wand. She made herself invisible and went outside. She made the sun go away permanently. Then, she made herself visible in her house and came out with the bucket of water. She poured it on the ground where the lake used to be and then kept going back and forth with buckets and pouring it on the ground until they had a nice, thick lake. Then the girl brought the monkeys into her house and before she closed the door, she shooted a evil curse at the Koala Monster. It made the Koala Monster disappear completely and float up onto a cloud and stick to the cloud. Then she closed the door and shot a nice curse at the monkeys to make them turn into who they were. They were 2 small wizarding boys. They said, “Thank you!” Then the girl said, “Help yourself to any of the food. I'll be upstairs.” Then she got on her phone and she found HOL. She said, “What is this? This looks fun.” So, she joined and told the wizarding boys about it. They joined too. Then they yelled, “Go HOL!” Aurelia West Writer, Slytherin Arcadia ducked behind the nearest bush as quickly as she could. A streak of lightning flashed through the sky, so bright it nearly burned her retinas as she kept a keen eye on its path. She couldn't blame the sky gods for targeting her, but she did wish they would do so in a subtler manner. Jupiter had always been such a braggart, it was a wonder no one had put him in his place before.
Once she felt the coast was clear, Arcadia peeked around the bush and made a run for it. The next town was only a few miles away. She could make it before she was obliterated, or so she hoped. The lightning seemed to have ceased, but it was time for the onslaught of precipitation. They knew as well as she did, that running for one's life through curtains of water was a fairly difficult endeavor. Which way was the town again? There was hardly enough light for her to see ten feet in front of her, much less any outline of buildings amidst this watery landscape. Cupping her hands securely around her mouth, she shouted an outburst of thunder, the sound waves and droplets beginning to argue in a midair dance of a battle. This internal fighting allowed Arcadia to make out a building in the distance, and she ran as fast as she could towards it. Winds whipped around her face as she kept dashing through the pelting rain yet she continued to push forward. She saw the tiny floating lights from the town and a smile broke across her face. The rain stopped. The sky seemed to glare down at her, but knew it couldn't do much more to stop her. She had attained the powers of thunder and intended to use them to bring about a revolution. Prof. Sky Alton Writer, Gryffindor Rachel gripped Tanya’s arm lightly as they made their way through the car park, holding her cane loosely in her other hand. They wove their way through some abysmal parking before Tanya paused, letting Rachel tap the kerb with her cane and step up onto it before strolling off again. The restaurant door opened as someone else came out, the delicious smell of frying onions gusting out with them.
“This place is meant to be amazing,” Tanya said. Rachel could feel her practically vibrating with excitement. Tanya absolutely loved food, particularly trying new things. It had led them to some very odd places over the years (the popcorn café serving seafood flavoured popcorn was a particularly vivid memory). This grill was actually quite safe sounding by Tanya standards. The restaurant was noisy: full of chatter and jazzy music that had been turned up just a little too loud. They were seated at a table by the window. Rachel propped her cane in a corner. “Can I get you some drinks to start off?” the waiter asked. “That would be great,” Tanya said, “I’ll have an orange juice.” “Certainly. And what would she like…?” Rachel’s heart sank slightly. She could practically sense Tanya’s blood pressure start to inch upwards. All the same, she forced a smile and pointedly turned in his direction. “Just a sparkling water, please,” she said firmly. “I’ll bring those right over,” the waiter promised, hurrying off. “Not a word,” Rachel said, before Tanya could explode. “But -.” “We came to relax. Not bust a blood vessel.” “Fine,” Tanya grumbled. Rachel nudged her with her foot. She was sure Tanya was already planning a scathing online review and wanted to derail her if she possibly could. “Menu, please.” Tanya obligingly began to read out the options. After six months of dating, she knew which pages to go to first. She’d even stopped doing funny voices to try to be cute… for the most part. The waiter returned after a while with the drinks. “Have you decided?” he asked. “I’ll take the veggie taco plank,” Tanya said. “And what would she –.” “You’ll need to ask her yourself,” Tanya snapped. There was an awkward silence. “A chicken burrito, please,” Rachel said, as though nothing had happened. The waiter mumbled his polite platitudes and raced off even quicker this time. “I just don’t get it,” Tanya said and Rachel could tell she was grimacing. “How can you live with it?” “It bothering me isn’t going to change the fact that it happens all the time, is it? If I get aerated about every little thing, I’ll spend my life angry.” “So it… doesn’t bother you?” Tanya asked quietly. “Of course it bothers me,” Rachel sighed, swirling her straw in her drink. “I would just rather not focus on it when we’re meant to be having fun.” It was hard to explain. That it made her die a little inside every time someone spoke to whoever she was with rather than to her. That people seemed to think being blind made you incapable of interacting with them. But to make a big deal out of it took energy and guts, two things she only had a limited supply of. An extremely limited supply after a hard week at work. It also meant she had to live with the embarrassment, discomfort and guilt of whoever she was taking to task. Maybe she shouldn’t feel bad for the people who had treated her poorly… But 9 times out of 10 she did. Because 9 times out of 10 they hadn’t meant to do it. Maybe not correcting people every time it happened made her a coward. But sometimes she just wanted a burrito and to eat it in peace… Well, as close to peace as you could get in a crowded restaurant with terrible music. Their food arrived. “She should -,” the waiter caught himself. “Sorry, madam. You should know that the plate is very hot, so please, please don’t touch it,” he said in a rush. Rachel smiled and nodded at him. She could feel the eruption building across the table. Showing uncharacteristic restraint, Tanya managed to wait until he’d moved off again before exploding. “Who’s she, the cat’s mother?” Rachel had to laugh. “At least he’s starting to learn…” “He’s still speaking to you like you’re a 5-year-old,” Tanya said. Rachel just reached for her food. Maybe it wasn’t the instant attitude change and grovelling apology that Tanya wanted. For her though, it was a start. She’d treat it as a win for now. She simply stared at her handlebars and the road beyond them. she’d left frustration behind twenty kilometers ago and misery had slipped away at least five back. Now she was just feeling a detached kind of bemusement: how could one day have gone so, so wrong?
She’d woken up to find everything from her kit to her breakfast sodden. She’d gotten herself onto the road with an extreme effort of will… and immediately taken a wrong turning. What was worse, it had taken her three kilometers and a formidable hill to realise the mistake. Around mid-morning, she’d tried to gain a little time back by risking a shortcut. She’d ended up having to wheel the bike through potholes deep enough to swallow a moderately sized hippo. Lunch had been as soggy as breakfast and a passing car had drenched her in muddy water thrown up by its wheels. And now? Now she was struggling up the steepest hill she had ever, ever encountered. It was so steep that the water slick road in front was practically at her eyeline. She willed her numb legs to keep going, then spluttered as something flew into her face. Whether it was a rain addled insect or a hailstone, she wasn’t quite sure. Muscles burning, she crawled a few more feet up the hill. She fought the temptation just to let herself veer off into the nice soft ditch to her left. It wasn’t like she could get any wetter or filthier… At last, she crested the hill. She leaned on her handlebars for a second, blinking water out of her eyes. The land stretched out beneath her, a patchwork of fields and woods in hazy browns and greens. There, tucked neatly at the bottom of the hill, was a collection of buildings, looking like nothing more than discarded toy blocks from up here. Looking to the horizon, she saw a patch of blue that was steadily growing larger. She was almost there. With a whoop, she plunged down the hill. Gail Allen Editor Winter was merciless in the north.
Not that they had expected any of this to be easy, but the ferocity of the storms howling across the land and freezing them to the bone had still come as a surprise. Kedrin looked across the room at the boy who sat huddled in a huge bearskin which made him appear even smaller than he already was. The lad shouldn’t have been here, but he had insisted when his father made preparations to set out, pleading endlessly with him until he had finally given in and allowed him to come along. They had left with Duke Rostamund’s blessing in the spring, foraging as they went and making their way north. Lord Edren had led the expedition and they had made good progress, each day going further and discovering new lands with rivers, mountains and forests as well as areas of grass which would be perfect for establishing farmland. As they made their way further north, the landscape had gotten harder and as autumn began to set in they had eventually realised that they had gone too far to be able to return before the winter storms made travel impossible. So Lord Edren had ordered that shelters should be built. They would stay here and wait out the winter. Here too they had made good progress and soon the huts were built and insulated with peat. They had hunted and filled a shed with what meat they had been able to salt and dry as well as apples they had gathered. As snow started falling they had been well prepared and they’d all been confident that they could simply wait out winter here and move on once spring came and the ice melted. For a while it had all gone to plan too. Until the bear had managed to break down the door to the shed and eat through large parts of their supplies before they had finally managed to hunt it down and put an end to the raids. But their victory hadn’t been without costs. Lord Edren had been buried at the edge of the marsh at the foot of the mountain*. It had been hard work; the ground was already frozen and they had spent days toiling before the hole was finally deep enough. Alderin, despite his youth, had carried himself with dignity. It was clear he mourned his father, but he had acted with composure and solemnity befitting a lord. His father would have been proud of him. Since then things had been hard, and though the fire still burned in their hearth, somehow the heat did not seem to truly reach them. Outside snow continued falling, seemingly determined to encase them in ice, as if it wanted to mirror the coldness of grief that gripped them all. Kedrin kept a close eye on Alderin, their new lord who was still far too young to shoulder such a burden, not to mention shouldering it while he still mourned his father. But there was nothing any of them could do other than support him and hope that they would all come out of this alive. Alive and with their souls unbroken by the mountains of ice that were the North. *Unbeknownst to the future generations of Genlith, this was where the crypts of the High Keep were later built. Gail Allen Editor In the great hall of Duke Arfron, the green banner with the tree of Tyaldi and the crown above it hung behind the throne as usual, providing some much needed stability in the face of everything else that was going on. It was about the only thing in the hall that was unchanged. The hall smelled of soap and fresh straw on the floor underneath the tables that had been brought in. The straw and tables in particular were strange. Usually this place was for Duke Arfron to receive his subjects and hold council, not to host a feast. But at this time that was exactly what was planned.
The alliance forged when his son Pietr and Lord Edren' daughter Lady Tanwen had been engaged was about to become permanent; Lord Edren had arrived with his family and a respectable following as was appropriate for the wedding of the future duke of Tyaldi. He had been warmly welcomed and given rooms for him and his family; the following had to be put up in less luxurious quarters, but no one complained. Not even Duke Arfron when the preparations started turning his house on its head, culminating in the complete upheaval of the otherwise austere and serious impression left by his hall. Now it was adorned with flowering branches on the walls and light and brightly coloured fabrics hanging between them, fluttering when the wind swept through the doors that never ceased to open and close as one servant after the other bustled in, doing some preparation or another. Duke Arfron kept to his study these days; it was impossible to get any work done in the hustle and bustle in the hall and although this was a time for celebrating it did not mean he would neglect his duties. In fact; quite the contrary. Many lords would be attending this celebration and he intended to make good use of that fact to settle matters of government now that they were here. It was the most efficient way. As he sat at his desk, he heard the sound of his son's voice coming in from the outside and looked up from his papers to glance out the window. What he saw made him smile and shake his head slightly to himself. Lady Tanwen and his son obviously thought themselves unseen by anyone and though they should not have been alone together they had apparently found a way to do so regardless. He couldn't tell what they were talking about, but whatever it was, he could tell from the look on his son's face that this match wasn't only good politically. She made his son smile and though Duke Arfron valued rules and seriousness, he also knew that everyone needed someone to be their sun in winter. |
