Of course, this opinion made Vanessa a little less popular among the girls, but they forgave her because they were such good friends. Vanessa Tilley Writer, Ravenclaw Vanessa was sitting in the Ravenclaw common room with her friends Victoria and Valerie. It was a rainy afternoon so all the girls decided it would be a great time to have a conversation about books. All the girls were book nerds and enjoyed hearing what new treasure everyone had found. Today, Vanessa was rather bored because Victoria and Valerie were talking about their Twilight obsession again. Vanessa felt bad, but she was just not a fan of the series. Vanessa found Twilight to be a little over the top and unrealistic when it came to the displays of love shown by Edward and Bella. Of course, this opinion made Vanessa a little less popular among the girls, but they forgave her because they were such good friends.
Currently, Victoria and Valerie were talking about the vampire Edward. They were both in love with Edward and thought he was so dreamy. "You know what?" Vanessa asked the girls. "What?" Victoria and Valerie asked together. "I think Jacob would have been a better choice for Bella." Vanessa said. "I mean from what I recall Jacob never abandoned Bella like Edward did. He cared for her too much." Victoria and Valerie gasped and turned to each other. "Are you crazy?!?" Valerie said. "What do you mean" Vanessa said. Valerie said, "Edward and Bella were meant to be. Edward loved her so much that he was ready to die for her!" Victoria nodded. "Not only that," Victoria said, "but since he changed Bella they can now be together forever. Besides, Edward is way hotter than Jacob." "Wait a minute." Valerie said looking at Vanessa. "You don't even like Twilight so why on earth did you pick team Jacob?" Victoria looked over at Vanessa and nodded. "That's right!" Victoria said, "you hate Twilight." Vanessa couldn't stop herself from laughing. "I'm sorry." Vanessa said between laughs. "You got me. I just wanted to know for once what it was like to play the devil's advocate."
